NIIT Healthcare Technologies will be showcasing its award-winning Preferr and MASH programs at the Health Connect Partners Hospital & Healthcare I.T. Conference in Phoenix beginning today.

Both programs are drawing growing interest across the country as smart-solutions for using mobile technology to connect providers and to improve patient experience while being cost effective.

Pranam Ben, COO of NIIT Healthcare Technologies, said that MASH is being implemented at some of the largest hospitals from the east to the west coasts.

MASH, so called because it enables healthcare providers to Manage, Analyze, Sustain and Harness information, allows patients to use a customized iPad to check in and electronically update their information, replacing the traditional clipboard and paperwork.
“Healthcare providers have found that MASH reduces patient check-in time by 80 percent,” Ben said.
MASH’s touchscreen technology also can be used for scheduling and bill paying among many other features, such as interactive maps that help patients and visitors navigate large, complex hospitals.

Preferr enables different healthcare providers to seamlessly connect and share patient information, connecting physicians, hospitals, outpatient clinics and laboratories. Preferr is HIPAA-compliant, meets federal compliancy guidelines and won Metro Orlando Economic Development Commission’s Annual William C. Schwartz award for innovation.

Lalit Dhingra, president of NIIT Technologies, said, “Mobile technology in healthcare is a growing trend, and we are excited to share our game-changing programs with the healthcare industry leaders.”
